How and where do coaching sessions occur?
I work with clients who live all over the world! Each coaching session lasts 45 minutes and takes place over the phone or video call. We will arrange mutually beneficial dates and times for your sessions.
What happens in a coaching session?
At the start of the session, we’ll check in on progress towards your goals.
Then, I will use a variety of established coaching techniques to help you explore your Client Agenda. Through this process, clients arrive at new insights and discover tools for moving forward.
At the end of the session, I will help you set manageable goals and you’ll decide how you’d like to be held accountable.

How is ADHD Coaching different from other types of coaching?
ADHD Coaching is a form of Life Coaching that also takes into account:
- the neurology of ADHD
- the landscape of treatment options
- how ADHD affects people’s lives
In addition to being a Professional Certified Life Coach, I have received specific ADHD Coach training. I am knowledgeable about proven techniques that improve executive function in the areas of:
- sustaining and shifting focus
- organization and planning
- emotional regulation, including RSD (Rejection Senstivity Dysphoria)
- time management
- social skills and relationships
- self-confidence
- memory
- self-care
Plus, as a member of an ADHD household, I know what ADHD can look like on a daily basis.
How is ADHD coaching different from therapy?
ADHD Coaching is focused on moving forward using concrete goals set by you, the client.
As a trained ADHD coach, I am well-versed in ADHD-specific coaching competencies and customized strategies built specifically for ADHD minds.
The best way to understand ADHD Coaching is to try a free coaching session.
Traditional therapy tends to look at root causes for thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. It is conducted by a licensed mental health practitioner who is trained in understanding a variety of mental health conditions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which can be a very helpful compliment to ADHD Coaching, works to change thought patterns and behaviors.
Many of my clients find it beneficial to have both a therapist and an ADHD Coach.
What if I already have a therapist and/or take medication for ADHD?
Research shows that ADHD Coaching can be a powerful accompaniment to medication and therapy. Many of my clients have both a prescriber and a therapist and find they benefit from having an ADHD Coach as well.
How long will it take for me to see results?
Most clients begin to see results after their first session. But short-term wins are just the beginning.
The goal of ADHD Coaching is for you to internalize tools you can use on your own forever — that’s the big win. For most clients, this takes a minimum of 12 sessions. This is why my evidence-based Set Yourself Up for Success Package includes 12 sessions. Depending on progress toward their goals, after the first few months, clients decide to either continue meeting at the same cadence, or to reduce the frequency of our sessions to once or twice a month.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
As a general guide, my ADHD coaching costs about the same as therapy or life coaching. I offer flexible options for payment, in an effort to make ADHD Coaching accessible. Schedule a time to chat with me and we can explore what might work for you.
DO You only work with people who have ADHD?
Nope! As a Certified Professional Life Coach, I work with both neurodivergent and neurotypical clients.
